Meet the Artists

KAIYA SYRETT
Tattooist & Body Piercer
Kaiya is our studio owner and resident artist, she comes from a body modification background which inspired her to open her own studio with a more welcoming setting and alternative modification experience. Kaiya opened Collectivus in September 2017 to accommodate herself and her apprentices.
Kaiya started her career in body modification as a professional piercer and did an apprenticeship in tattooing alongside her piercing job. After working in and out of a few different studios she finally decided to open her own based in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
Kaiya specialises in bespoke fine line tattooing & cover ups.
The studio is inspired by Kaiya's childhood obsession with cats which has been very prevalent throughout her personality and life.
Outside of work Kaiya enjoys being with her kitties, drawing, video games and fishing.
JESSICA GRINT
Tattoo Apprentice
Jessica joined the team in September 2018, she's joined us as an apprentice after being influenced by the tattoo and body modification industry. This comes from her connection and friends within the industry as well as her love of art and wanting to apply it to her career.
Jessica's art inspiration is heavily influenced by anime and manga which isn't the usual for tattooing however she is also inspired by and enjoys tattooing in neo traditional art styles, specifically focusing on plants and animals.
Jessica started tattooing clients in April 2019.
You can view some of her artwork and tattoos at @shunarii on instagram and Jess Grint Tattoos on facebook.
Outside of work Jessica watches anime, has a mild lucozade addiction, playing video games & cuddles her beloved ferrets.
